In this episode of Progressively Incorrect, I’m joined by Jonah Davids. Jonah and I met while participating in a panel discussion around declining behavior in schools (listen here), which led me to invite him to discuss the evidence base behind Restorative Justice and Social-Emotional approaches in education. Are we on track or has there been an overreach? I hope you enjoy the discussion.

  1. The episode with Jonah Davids on restorative justice was thought-provoking. I’m looking for published research that scrutinizes the effectiveness of restorative justice in primary school settings, especially in comparison to more evidence-based practices like PBIS. Given that restorative justice sometimes enters discussions, I’d be particularly interested in studies that demonstrate its ineffectiveness in this educational context.
